When your friend has a birthday and the only supplies you have are a massive canvas and some white house paint, you make the best of it.

I am going through a phase where all I want to paint are patterns and shapes, all the while thinking about what they might represent..

Me thinks it is time to start doing some more reading and seek inspiration outside of Kikki K and Ikea.
