They aren't trying to make you a better human being they are just making clones. They all wear the same uniform, think the same thoughts, and the generation that made them still complain.

Chocfest

So I have been very busy of late (read lazy), and haven't had a chance to post the pictures of my little creative bits and bobs. I am slowly catching up and so far am up to Chocfest (known to non-secularists as Easter). I'm ashamed to admit that I watched a little too much Martha Stewart at the time, and ended up making a truck load of egg cosies and gave them out as Chocfest presents. The pink and blue pair were the prototypes. Using a basic pattern found on the Martha Stewart website I got a bit over-excited with the ribbon and buttons and gave them all a bit more personality, depending on who would be receiving them.

Sticks and Stones

When your friend has a birthday and the only supplies you have are a massive canvas and some white house paint, you make the best of it.

I am going through a phase where all I want to paint are patterns and shapes, all the while thinking about what they might represent..

Me thinks it is time to start doing some more reading and seek inspiration outside of Kikki K and Ikea.
